This project involved creating a detailed storyboard for a 90-second animated explainer video for Smart Assets AI. The video was designed as a high-impact sizzle reel, intended for both live event presentation and prominent placement on the company’s homepage. As the storyboard artist, my role was to help shape a compelling narrative flow that visually supports Smart Assets’ core themes—analytics, regional ad scaling, creative coherence, and improved ROAS.
Working closely with the creative team, I translated the script into clear visual sequences that balanced technical clarity with visual engagement. The storyboard served as a crucial blueprint for the animation phase, guiding scene transitions, pacing, and the visual rhythm needed to keep viewers engaged throughout the short runtime.
The visual direction aimed to be sleek and data-driven, incorporating clean, modern layouts that reflect Smart Assets AI’s precision and innovation. I paid special attention to the flow of information—using visual metaphors and structured compositions to reinforce the brand’s focus on performance-driven advertising and intelligent insights.
As a collaborative effort, the storyboard process involved regular reviews with the animation team and client, ensuring alignment with the intended tone, event requirements, and web presentation standards. This iterative approach helped ensure that each scene was purposeful, engaging, and technically ready for production.
Contributing to this project gave me the opportunity to help visualize a fast-paced, results-oriented story. I enjoyed the challenge of distilling Smart Assets AI’s sophisticated offering into a concise, visually appealing format that supports both brand awareness and product clarity.
